![]() ![]() I am glad I went on a weekday afternoon, when it wasn't crowded as I have been told is the standard on weekend. It wasn't a challenge, just not comfortable in a wheelchair, but that is just a minor oddness in the entryway. It is well laid out, and easy to navigate for wheelchair access, except for an unexpected slope design leading up to the door. The restaurant is tucked in a strip mall, next to Tuesday Morning, with a lot of parking available. Rounded out with their fresh, hot coffee, it was a great meal. ![]() The latkes (basically hash brown pancakes, for the uninitiated) were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with sour cream. Served on crispy toasted English muffins, with perfectly poached eggs, and a sinful amount of decadent hollandaise sauce. The salmon was delicious, tender and melted in my mouth like butter. I managed to resist the highly recommended chicken and waffles - it sounded like far more than I could handle! Someone near me ordered it and WOW, it was impressive and both looked and smelled delicious! Next time, I won't eat for a day before going! I decided to indulge instead with their Salmon Benedict, which is served with two latkes and a bowl of fruit. I certainly have been missing out! The restaurant is casual, and very cheerful and bright. I finally made my way to the Maple Leaf Diner, after having heard about it for several years.
